Nikolaos Kritharis opened to 15,000 from the Hi-jack. Yordan-Ivanov Dichev called from the Big Blind.
Dichev check-called a 30,000 bet from Kritharis on the 7♥3♠5♣ flop. Then, Kritharis bet 40,000 on the 6♥ turn, under the impression that Dichev already had checked. Dichev then bet 300,000, effectively forcing Kritharis all in foe 163,000. Doing so, he gave Kritharis the legal opportunity to withdraw his 40,000.
There were some discussions back and forth, but the dealer was firm on his stand. It didn’t matter in the end, though, as Kritharis was happy to make the call for his tournament life.
