Day 2 Features poker.pro H.O.R.S.E, Mini Main Event and More

It’s Wednesday, August 13, and the poker.pro live coverage team have installed themselves at the Alea Casino, Glasgow. Just outside the casino, the River Clyde is meandering through the Scottish capital, and the sun shines bright.

Indoors is where the action is, however. It’s the second day of the 2025 PartyPoker Tour Glasgow, and there’s an action-packed tournament schedule.

First out is Day 1b of the £150 Mini Main Event. Yesterday’s Day 1a flight attracted 145 entries, a very promising number considering it was the first day of the festival. €20,592 was contributed to the prize pool, and 29 players bagger their chips for tomorrow’s Day 2, one of them of course being the current chip leader James Holland with 357,000. 20 % of the players in each starting day flight will secure their Day 2 seat.

Later in the evening, it’s the £60 poker.pro PL H.O.R.S.E event. poker.pro is very grateful for getting the opportunity to have a branded tournament of our own during all the PartyPoker Tour stops, and this is perhaps the first-ever PL H.O.R.S.E live tournament. Time will tell whether the Scottish are competent Mixed Games players.

At 20:00 tonight there’s yet another flight of the Mini Main, before the day wraps up with a £60 Target Stack Satellite to the £500 Main Event.
