2025 Summer Super Stack – Event #14: $1,500 Superstack NLH Day 2
Date: Aug 10, Noon Blinds: 60 Minutes Entries: 58/329 Prizes: $421,943 (1st Place $94,937)
Day 2 of the Main Event is set, but not everyone returning is going to be happy. There are 58 players returning for the final day of play, but only 33 paid spots, so 25 players will come back on Sunday and still go home empty-handed.
At the top of the list are Dave S and Doug Lee, both with well over 600k. They both bagged on Day 1b, as did Thomas Taylor for the 3rd place stack of 487k. The Day 1a leader, Malcolm Bolger, is 4th on Day 2 with 457k, but it’s back to the 1b stacks for Mike Malm in 5th with 437k. Malm spun that stack up after entering late in the game, on the final break.
The Day 2 action gets going at noon with levels jumping to 60 minutes. It’s likely that they’ll take at least a full level before they get to the money, but there are quite a few short stacks, so it could go quicker. There are 14 stacks returning with less than 20 big blinds, so they will all have to start looking for chips pretty quickly on Day 2.
