Good afternoon, fellow poker enthusiasts, to the penultimate day of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Sheffield. The poker.pro editorial office has covered the £150 Mini Main Event up until this point, but seeing as that one is now done and dusted (with online qualifier John Leslie claiming the title for £9,240), the spotlight will now be on the prestigious £500 Main Event.
As this post is being created, Day 1d (the final starting-day flight) is still ongoing. Day 2 is scheduled to kick off at 16:00.
The poker.pro live coverage will commence with Day 2, and won’t stop until the survivors bag for Day 3. The goal is to play down to a nine-handed final table. There are many prominent names who have made it through to Day 2: David Lappin, Joe Beevers, Deniz Orhan, Dara O’Kearny, Alexander Georgiev, Paul Carr, and Lee Mulligan, to name a few.
