2025 Summer Super Stack – Event #9: $400 H.O.R.S.E. ($355 + $45)

Monday is HORSE day at the Summer Super Stack. The five-game mix kicks off at 2 PM, and players sit down with 25k in chips for 25-minute levels.
Games change on the orbit, with the rotation of Hold ’em, Omaha 8 or Better, Razz, Stud, and Stud 8 or Better. Players have 10 levels to buy in or rebuy, and the final chance for a stack will be around 6:40 PM.
The last time this game ran was in April, and local mixed-game crusher Thomas Taylor took it down. Taylor regularly plays mixed games against the best in the world, with multiple runner-up finishes in big mixed events at the WSOP in Vegas. It’s likely he’ll be out to defend his title, though we haven’t seen the ring winner from January in the inaugural HORSE game, during the WSOP-C, Chris “Pokin StaR” Alcindor this series.
Alek Gillies will be reporting on this one, as I’m taking the day off to donate $400 (at LEAST) to the prize pool. While I used to play a lot of mixed games online, including HORSE, it’ll be my first chance to play the five-game mix live.
