
Event #16: $340 Last Chance NLH, found a frenzy of players looking to find the last PPT trophy of the year. The field drew 144 entries to combine for a prize pool of $41,040. Denis Mujcin climbed his way to the top, to take home his first PPT trophy. Mujcin ended the tournament with a double elimination.
He called off with K♦J♦ against Ryan Smith’s short stacked all in, as well as Rob Lothian’s re-jam. Smith had 5♦6♦, while Lothian held J♠J♥. However, the K♥Q♣7♥ flop launched him into the lead. The board completed with the 6♣2♠ to give Mujcin his first trophy.
Mujcin shared some key hands including an elimination, and big pot five handed picking up pocket aces twice. He also found two eliminations with Ace-Queen on his way to taking home his first poker trophy.
