More than an hour into the Final Day of the 2026 Kings of Tallinn Main Event, we have the first elimination of the day.
John Dwyer opened to 130,000 from the early position with A♥7♣, and Gary Fisher called from the big blind with 10♥9♥ for 70,000 more.
The dealer opened a truly action-packed flop of A♦J♥7♥, giving Dwyer two pair, while Fisher flopped a gutshot straight flush draw for 11 outs. Fisher checked to Dwyer, who continued for 70,000. Fisher then check-raised to 400,000. Dwyer quickly announced all-in, and Fisher almost beat him into the pot with the call.
With 2,300,000 chips in the middle, the turn brought the 3♥, completing Fisher’s flush. Only an ace or a seven on the river could save Dwyer with a full house. The river did pair the board, but it was the J♣, sending Dwyer to the rail in 16th place for €7,750.
