As he has done countless times before, Eric Wasylenko has surpassed the field to win Event #10: $560 NLH. He bested the 72 player field to take home the first place prize of $11,635. The tournament garnered a total prize pool of $34,200 with eight players making the money. He bested Brian Macnevin in heads-up play to take down the event.
Wasylenko held the chip lead in the final table and didn’t look back. He found eliminations to remain the chip lead until heads-up play occurred. At one point Macnevin had a 4:1 chip lead against Wasylenko. He battled back winning a key double up to stay in the game. Shortly after, he got a ton of value when Macnevin flopped a set and he turned a straight. From there he didn’t look back as he called off with ace-ten against Macnevin’s pocket sevens and flopped a ten.
