The final game of the series gets going Monday, Oct 13, at 4 PM. The Big 30 Stack tends to open and close the WSOP-C Calgary series, and this time, the final Big 30 is a $400 game.
Players get 30k to start, with blinds 20 minutes long. There are 11 levels to enter the game, putting the last chance to enter a ring event in this series at around 8:10 Monday evening. This is a one-day game that will finish before the day is out.
In January, this game got 400 entries for prizes of $132,000. Steven Labelle overcame those 400 entries, including his heads-up opponent Mike Malm, to take down his first ring and the last ring of the January series.
I’m not sure how much of this game I’ll get to watch on Monday. My main focus will be the Main Event Day 3, with the High Roller Day 2 as my second priority. Once those are complete, if this is still running, I’ll finish the series out watching the endgame here, but don’t expect much action early in the game.
