Event #3: $670 NLH Day 1B ($600 + $70)
| Date: | Feb 28, 1 PM |
| Blinds: | 40 Minutes |
| Starting Stack: | 30k |
| Late Entry: | 9 Levels (~8:15 PM) |
| Day 1 Ends: | 12.5% of the Starting Field |
| Day 1a Entries: | 111 |
| Day 1a Prizes: | $63,270 |
The final flight for Event #3 is now set, with 14 players already waiting for Sunday’s Day 2 from the 1a field. Day 1a saw 111 total entries, and when the dust settled at the end of the night, Brad Bishop led the 1a field with the only stack of more than 500k.
Day 1b is a redo of 1a, though the expectation is always that it will be bigger than the first go-round. With 111 in 1a, I expect 1b to easily cap 150 entries before registration closes.
The action kicks off at 1 PM, and they’ll play 9 levels of poker before the entries close. With 40-minute levels, that should put the final rebuy chance at about 8:15 PM. After that, they’ll play down to 12.5% of the original starting field before the bags come out to end the day.
