The second flight to the Main Event is taking off Saturday at noon, but players can get onboard for 9.5 hours after takeoff. Players get 40k to start and play 40-minute levels, with a hard stop on the day at the end of Level 15, or a soft stop if they hit 10% of the field before that.

On Day 1a, they got 133 entries for prizes of more than $170k so far. Malcolm Bolger was the player with the most chips at the end of Day 1a, with both he and Andy Truong stacking in the 400s. Shariq Khan, Jerry Li, and Cindy Kerslake rounded out the top five from 1a with stacks in the 300s.

The Day 1b action kicks off at noon, and this will be my main focus for the day. That said, Friday is likely to be a late night for me, so I won’t be on the floor for the start of play. I should be in the room shortly after the first break, but it depends on how late Friday goes.
