The second flight to the Mini Main Event Day 2 is set to take off at 11 AM on Friday. There are already 15 players waiting after Day 1a saw a solid turnout of 319 players, beating the 1a for the Oct Mini Main and the 1a for the Jan 4-Flight, and while there should have been at least 16 bags, a double knockout on the bubble meant they finished with less.
There are a couple of millionaires from Day 1a, Ankhbayar Bayar & Kyle Crego, leading the counts — a full look at the Day 1a qualifying stacks can be found at the end of day post for 1a, with the Day 1a cashouts in the previous Day 1a post.
Day 1b is mostly a redo of 1a, but the morning flights (b & d) have a slightly different structure, playing 30-minute blind levels with a dinner break following Level 12. Entries are closed at the end of dinner, which should be about 6:15 PM. After that, they play down to 5% of the field, or the end of Level 22, whichever comes first.
The top 15% of players cash in this event, with only 5% going through, so players finishing from 15%-5% will get paid out on Day 1. Note that players who cash out of a Day 1 are allowed to enter again in a later flight; however, once a player puts chips in a bag at the end of a flight, they may NOT register in any subsequent flights in this event.
