Christina Solli opened with a min-raise from the early position holding 44. Habib Brahim, the shortest stack at the table, just called on the button with AA. The blinds folded, and the two went heads-up to the flop.

And what a flop it was. 3K4 as Solli hit middle set, but Brahim still had plenty of outs. Solli checked, and the Swede made a small bet of 100,000. Solli quickly raised to 400,000, and Brahim responded by moving all-in for 1,400,000. After counting it out, Solli made the call.

Brahim needed either a spade or an ace to survive, and the 9 immediately rolled off on the turn, giving him the flush. Solli was now trailing and needed the board to pair on the river to fill up or hit quads. Instead another spade appeared on the river, and Brahim doubled up with his slowplayed Aces, while Solli lost about a third of her stack.

Christina Solli: 3,300,000
Habib Brahim: 3,000,000
