Four Digit Field for Final Monster Flight

Level:13 (2000/4000/4000)
Entries:377/1,024 (409/1,657)
Prizes:$337,920 ($536,366 total)

For the first time ever in Calgary, the Monster Stack has a four-digit field for one of its flights. Entries are now closed on the final flight to the Monster, and Day 1b got an astonishing 1,024 entries, for a combined field of 1,657.

That total puts this game as the fourth biggest field ever in Alberta, trailing this year’s massive Mini Main record-setter, as well as the Jan 2024 4-Flight (the previous record holder), and the Oct 2025 Mini Main.

With the current numbers, it looks like there will be 154 pay spots on Day 1b, with at least 51 players moving on to join the 32 qualifiers from 1a on Thursday’s Day 2. The action today continues until the end of Level 24, or until they get to 83 players, whichever comes first. Flight 1a ended with just over 25 minutes to play in Level 23, so 20k/40k/40k are the biggest blinds they’ll start at on Day 2, but the level may roll back further if today’s flight plays down more quickly.
