Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk plays a decent stack in Day 2 of the €1,100 Main Event. He’s not a big Texas NLH fan, but more a huge Mixed Games enthusiast. That being said, he has some impressive two-card results on his resume from the past.
Action folded to Gintautas Danilevicius, who opened to 3,000 from the Cut-off. Sergejs Serkovs (Button), Franke (Small Blind), and Erio Ermann all made the call. Franke then donk-bet 4,000 on the 6♥2♣10♥ flop; Danilevicius was the only one who decided to stick around. Franke continued on the aggressive path with a 6,500 bet on the A♥ turn, only to be faced with a 13,000 min-raise from his Lithuanian opponent. Franke looked at his hole cards and revealed his Q♠Q♣ holdings for the reporter before mucking swiftly.
“Aiyaah!” he let out as Danilevicius showed 5♣3♣. Time will tell if Franke is still alive in the Main Event at 17:00, when the €555 PL Sviten Championship kicks off. It’s his favorite game, and he wouldn’t want to miss it for the world.
Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk: 128,000
Gintautas Danilevicius: 94,000
