It wa sa swingy heads up, but in the end, it all came down to a huge hand where Michael St Pierre-Porter got there with ace-eight over Gaetano Buda’s queens when they were virtually even. That left Buda on fumes, but he doubled back up a few times to get back over a million before it all went in again with Buda on J♠6♣ against K♠10♥. The king-high held and Buda was forced to take second place.
