The money went in on the flop with the board reading QJ10. Angelo Gambrelis was at risk with ace-six against king-eight for Grama Lupton. Gambrelis was best with ace high, and was drawing to the Broadway gutshot, while Lupton was looking for a heart to hit his flush with the 8 in his hand.

The 23 turn and river bricked for both hands, and Gambrelis’ ace high took it down. He had 1.25 million to start the hand, so he’s up to about 3 million, with Lupton on about the same and Wayne Gair now in the lead.
