After a grueling 14 hrs of play, George Skrzypniak Wins Event #2: $340 PLO/NLH Mix. He bested the 101 player field and Jeffrey Weiss in heads-up play to take home his first PPT trophy.
The tournament drew a prize pool of $30,300 with Skrzypniak taking home the largest share of $8,165. Skrzypniak tore up the final table picking up Aces more than any player should. In heads-up play, Weiss battled back and doubled up twice, but Skrzypniak flopped a straight and got it all in against him. He couldn’t improve giving Skrzypniak his maiden PPT trophy.
