While the main game on Tuesday will be the final day of the 6-Max game, there’s some pretty big action on the side as well. Starting at 4 PM, the High Rollers swing into action for nine levels of Day 1 play. Entries are open until the start of Level 12, on Day 2, so the entry desk will be open for the entirety of Day 1 play.
There’s a bit of a twist on this one when players buy in — early birds who buy into the action before the start of play on either day will get a $100 discount on the registration fee, for a discounted buy-in of $1,900. The full price is in effect as long as cards are in the air, and players taking advantage of the discounted early bird special should be aware their stack will be in play from the first hand of the day, whether they are in their seats or not.
This would normally be where I’d say “this game won’t get much coverage …” but since this is the High Roller, I’m calling up my second string, Alek Gillies, to cover the HR action from start to end.
