Day 1 of the High Roller is complete, and they got deeper than expected. There were still 50 players battling for 21 paid spots when entries closed at the start of Level 13, but they played through nearly half of those remaining players in the final three levels of Day 1.
There are 26 players returning for the final day, and 5 will have to leave empty-handed. Igor Tregoubov is the chip leader right now with 475k. Richard Leblanc, DJ Sharma, Michael Letal, and Andy Truong all have more than 400k to start the day as well.
The Day 2 action gets going at 1 PM with the start of Level 16 (4k/8k/8k), and they’ll award the ring before the action ends. This game will be my second focus for the day, but once the Main ring is on someone’s finger, I’ll move to cover the end of this one.
