During the first hand of three-handed play, Krzysztof Chmielowski opened to 600,000 UTG. Within a split second, Igor Pihela Sr then three-bet to 4,200,000. Now, the action was on Jenny Westerlund. The Swedish chip leader decided to four-bet to 10,000,000. Chmielowski took an extra peak on his cards, went into the tank for a minute or two, before moving all in himself for 14,000,000 in total. Pihela Sr committed his last 1,100,000 for the call, and Westerlund called for an additional 4,000,000.

Krzysztof Chmielowski: Q♠Q♣
Igor Pihela Sr: A♣6♥
Jenny Westerlund: A♥J♦
All the tournament chips were now in the middle. Westerlund had both of her opponents at risk, while Chmielowski would be a huge chip leader if his queens were to hold. It was time for the flop.
There were all diamonds on the 2♦9♦3♦, giving Westerlund an additional eight outs. The turn wasn’t a diamond, but the A♠ turn was enough to put Westerlund in a very solid lead. Chmielowski was now drawing to one out on the river, the Q♥. It was the 5♥ that finished the board, though, and such, Pihela Sr and Chmielowski both were eliminated in the same hand. Since Chmielowski had the superior stack, he got the €128,500 second-place payout, while Pihela Sr got €90,200 for his third-place finish.
