After over 13 hours of play, John Donnelly has battled through the 127 player field to best the rest. For his efforts he took home the lions share of $9,850 from the $36,195 prize pool. Donnelly had been on the radar throughout the day playing cautiously but catching big hands and momentum.
This continued throughout the final table as he took the chip lead from Francis Fan, and sent him home in third place. Heads up play was short lived as Donnelly went into into it with a 2:1 chip lead. His aggression combined with run good allowed him to end the tournament shortly after.
