Jose Aguilera, who was the chip leader after the dinner break, has had some bad luck since then. He’s lost some small pots here and there, and then, the big one, when Jose Maria Nieto Martin doubled up against him. A lot of his chips were distributed to the other players, and he became the shortest stack.

Francisco Garrido Cruz opened to 320,000 on the button, and Barbara Jiménez called from the Small Blind. Then, Jose Agiluera moved all in for 1,795,000 from the Big Blind. Cruz let his hand go before Jiménez made the call.

Jiménez took the lead in this very crucial flip on the 5QK flop. The board completed with 48, and that sealed Aguilera’s fate.
