It’s the fifth day of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Madrid, and it’s a sunny Friday in the Spanish capital. For the last couple of days, poker.pro live reporter Christoffer Karlén has been covering the €150 Mini Main Event. The said tournament wrapped up late night, and now, it’s time to focus on the star of the show: the €500 Main Event.
Day 1b is just about to kick off, with 46 players in for the get-go. Yesterday’s inaugural flight scored 173 entries, setting another record for the biggest-ever starting-day flight of this flagship tournament of the tour. The expectations are high for Day 1b, which is playing down to 25% of the field.
