The 1b players are on their dinner break now with the conclusion of Level 8. I had a quick look around the room just before they left for dinner, and Mike Malm is among the big stacks at the dinner break. He’s playing more than 200k, but Debi Loomer is also big with about 185k.
There are three more levels of late entry when they return from dinner, putting the end of entries about 2.5 hours away. It’s like the pace of rebuys will slow a bit after dinner, but it still looks reasonable to guess that the final 1b field will be in the range of 170 entries for combined prizes of almost $85k and a full flight yet to run on Saturday. With an average turnout for Saturday’s flight, the final prize pool for this game should easily be flirting with $150k.
