Martin Campeau Wins Deepstack Hyper for $6,850

The Deepstack Hyper is over with Martin Campeau taking the win. He was the short stack going into heads-up, but ace-eight was his lucky hand. In his first double, he cracked Jo Teliani’s ace-eight with trip tens to double into the lead, then found ace-eight himself against Reliani’s king-jack. He hit his ace on a paired board for aces and fives, eight high to take it down. Campeau requested no winner’s photo, but he is pictured above from the final table faces.
