Guillermo Cifuentes opened to 10,000 from the Hi-jack, and was faced with a 35,000 three-bet from Egidijus Matonis from the Button. Cifuentes calmly calculated out a four-bet to 70,000, and Matonis made the call after some consideration.
Cifuentes dipped his toes in the waters with a 20,000 bet on the wet 8♠6♠7♣ flop. After spending two minutes in the tank, Matonis raised to 90,000. Cifuentes made the fold faster than the speed of lightning.
Matonis won a decent-sized pot at a very crucial stage, seeing as only three more players will have to go out before the remaining competitors are in the money.
