Event #7: $780 NLH 6-Max ($700 + $80)
| Date: | Day 1: Nov 24, 1 PM Day 2: Nov 25, 1 PM |
| Blinds: | 40 Minutes |
| Starting Stack: | 40k |
| Entries: | 7/60 |
| Prizes: | $39,900 |
Day 2 of the 6-Max is set, with seven players returning. There were 60 entries on Day 1 by the time the registration desk closed, digging a prize pool almost $40k deep
The left 8 players in the money, but Clayton Gaudry took the 8th place min-cash just before the end of Day 1 play, leaving just seven players remaining. Gaudry earned $1,155 for the min-cash, and all players returning for Day 2 are guaranteed at least $1,475.
2024 Alberta Poker Index Player of the Year, Mike Malm, leads the way into the final day. He has more than 660k, for 166 big blinds, and is well in front. It won’t be an easy run to the trophy for him, as the other six players aren’t exactly “dead seats” in this one.

Malm leads a very stacked table, including defending champ Nu Teliani, Tony Ma, Nadav Bitton, Michael St. Pierre-Porter, and Deven Lane, as well as Joseph Roberts with the second-best stack. Malm, Roberts, and Teliani all have more than 100 bigs coming into Day 2.

Day 2 action kicks off at 1 PM, and with the game still quite deep, I expect it to be a fairly long day before the winner is decided. I am taking over the reporting duties once again, starting on Tuesday, and will be on task for the rest of the week, but I want to give a shoutout to Alek Gillies for covering me while I was in Montreal and doing an excellent job.
