The two-day field is over 250 entries now with 123 in the pool for today. That puts the 1b prizes at $257,748, with the combined prizes over $325k.
with the current numbers, it looks like prizes of more than $350k are pretty likely, and if today’s field reaches 150 entries, which seems like a very reasonable number with the current pace, the combined prizes would be more than $360k. A 1b field of 179, which doesn’t seem out of the question at all, would put the combined prizes over $400k.
Entries are still open for more than 6 hours, and there are already a lot of familiar faces in the crowd. I haven’t had a good look at the room yet, but among the players I’ve spotted already while getting set up are Nicholas Lee, Matt Kwong, Dave Howat (who was at the FT of the PLO Bounty last night), Graydon Kowal, Mehmet Siginc, and Jacqueline Ray. That barely scratches the surface though, and I’ll add more names with future updates.
