Friday’s feature is the first multi-day game of the series. This is one of two games with multiple day 1 flights, while there are an additional two games that run for two days, but only have a single Day 1.
For $670, players get 25k in chips, with blind levels at 40 minutes throughout the game. Entries are open for nine levels, with the final shot at entry coming about 8:15 PM at the start of Level 10.
Day 1 play will continue until the field is down to 12.5% of the starting field, with Day 2 starting at the earliest blinds for a Day 1 end and all players in the money. This is a best-stack forward event, so players can play both opening flights, play their big stack on Day 2, and take a min-cash for the small stack.
David Boyer took down this game in PPT #4 in September. He pocketed the biggest share of nearly $200k in prizes, heads up over Garry Sandhu, but there was one person missing from the winner’s photo on this one — Boyer had massage artist Brittany working on him from start to end on Day 2, and she massaged him straight to the trophy.
