Just over an hour remains in the registration period for the Mini Main Event, and the prize pool is over $545k, with 1,652 entries. That’s not quite a record for this event (that was 1,715 in January 2024), but so far, this is the biggest flight from a 4-flight event in the history of WSOP-C Calgary.
To be fair, there is a Monster Stack flight that got 850 entries a couple of years ago, but that game only has two flights. It seems likely there will still be a significant number of entries before the end of the dinner break following this level, but the 1,715 record seems a bit out of reach.
