After the 6-Max game played 4-handed for several levels, they went from 4 to 1 in just a few minutes. After Lee Clark and Deven Lane hit the rail for 4th and 3rd, respectively, Nu Teliani and Skyler York were very even in chips. They played a few small pots without showdown before the big confrontation.
York opened the button to 90k, then called when Teliani reraised it to 220k. She fired 180k on the 2♥K♦4♣ flop. York repopped it to 460k, and Teliani came back over again to 740k. York flatted to see 2♣ on the turn, then faced a shove from Teliani.
She had him covered by just a few chips, but he called it off. He had pocket sixes, but he was behind the K♠Q♥ for Teliani. The Q♣ river improved her more, and York had to settle for second place tonight. This was Teliani’s 18th live win, and will add ~$10k USD to her Hendon Mob earnings, which were just over $600k going into the game.
