Between hands, this poker.pro live reporter had a small chat with Peggy “Pocket Peg” Crawford and Blaise Bourgeois. Crawford is playing 560,000, which could be the biggest stack in the room at this stage. She showed us the video of her securing a massive pot, and it was quite the rollercoaster of a hand.

From the video, it looks like Crawford opened to 12,000 UTG. Player A then moved all in for 35,000 from the Button. Player B re-shoved for 200,000 from the Small Blind. Having both players covered, Crawford made the call.

Player A: AJ
Player B: AQ
Peggy “Pocket Peg” Crawford: KK

Crawford was ahead, but she was not a big fan of the 8A10 flop. The Poker Gods were looking out for the WSOP Circuit Ring winner, though; the board completed with 25, and Crawford secured the massive pot after hitting the runner-runner nut flush.

Only six more players will go out before the survivors will bag for Day 2. It’ll be interesting to see if Crawford can keep the momentum going and bag a top-three stack.
