They had to move to the poker room because of the late hour, but once they did, it finished pretty quickly. They played six-handed for an hour and a hald, with stacks dipping to as low as 12 bigs average at one point.
The dam finally burst with the elimination of Kevin Huang in 5th place, and that opened the floodgates a bit. Griffin Ristevski followed about 10 minutes later, and Guneet Singh was right behind him in 4th place.
That left the final three fairly even, and they battled for a bit before Craig Caldwell got it in for essentially a flip with his ace-five up against the king-seven for Quin Kannekens. Kannekens flopped his king, and Caldwell was out in 3rd.
Caldwell hit the rail just before 6 AM, so they had to pack up the chips and move the players to the Poker Room to finish the game. Once they got going again, it only took a few hands for the final confrontation. Cristian Moldovan was a short stack through much of the final table, and Kannekens had a big chip advantage to start heads up.
In the final hand, Kannekens had to get there with a three-outer. The money went in with Moldovan on ace-seven against king-seven for Kannekens. He hit his king on the flop again in a near carbon-copy of his hand against Caldwell.
