I’ve just had a bit of a dive into the previous record field from the January 2024 4-Flight, and so far, this event is well ahead of that record field. That game saw 280 entries on 1a, almost 40 less than 1a this time around. Likewise, Day 1b is also much larger, with more than 520 in this time around compared to 395 in Jan 2024.
Day 1c is still early in registration, but the field is already more than halfway to the Jan 2024 1c total, and it looks like a safe bet it’ll get there before entries close later tonight. Based on the entries from the first two flights, this event is well ahead — there were 675 entries after two flights in 2024, while this event already has 845 entries through two flights, with the second flight entries not even closed yet.
While it remains to be seen what the final totals for 1c/d will be, based on the first two flights, this game looks on pace to smash the record field size by he end of entries tomorrow.
