Scrolling through PokerLens, this poker.pro live reporter noticed Kaspars Butans in the field. Butans won the €1,100 Main Event during the 2025 Kings of Tallinn for €182,000, beating No Filter Poker Series founder Mounir Tajiou heads-up. That was the biggest-ever Kings of Tallinn Main Event; only time will tell whether the record will be broken this year.
When this reporter strolled by Butans’ table, the board read 7♦7♠6♦10♠ with 16,500 in the middle. Steinn Thanh Du Karlsson (Small Blind) and Oleh Pritsak (Big Blind) both checked before Butans bet 6,500. Thanh Du Karlsson mucked instantly, but Pritsak made the call. The dealer revealed the Q♥ on the river; after another check from Pritsak, Butans sized up to 14,500. This sent Pritsak into the tank, and he spent two minutes there before making the call.
Butans turned over Q♦Q♣ for a rivered full house. Pritsak grimaced before mucking his hand.
Kaspars Butans: 134,000
Oleh Pritsak: 68,000
