The poker.pro editorial office has received intelligence regarding a hand that played out at Table 1.
Allegedly, Alfie Darby and Andrew Teng were all in on the flop, Darby being the player at risk with a 276,000 stack. Both players had flopped a set; Darby was trailing with his set of fours. Much to his pleasure, though, he rivered quads to survive, taking a big chunk out of Teng’s stack in the process.
Just a few hands later, Teng managed to double up with the fishhooks against ace-queen; he’s now playing slightly more than the average stack.
Alfie Darby: 565,000
Andrew Teng: 425,000
