Kristopher Di Leone is the stack to beat for 1b players. He led the way out of Day 1a with more than half a million in his bag, while second & third, Bogdan Szafranowicz & Amir Khan, are both playing in the 300k range. Phillip Clingo has 255.5k, while the rest of the 9 qualifiers from 1a have between 100k & 200k.
Day 1b will be a redo of Day 1a, though with a bigger field. I generally expect to see something like a 50% increase from day to day in multi-day games, so a 1b field of 140-ish looks like a decent bet.
The action gets going at 2 PM, with 25k to start. Blinds on Day 1 are 30 minutes, but once they hit 18 players on Day 2, the blinds will jump up to 40 minutes.
Players have 11 levels to enter Day 1 flights, with the final chance to enter coming at around 8:45 PM when they sit down for Level 12. After that, the game plays until the field is down to 10%. Day 1a played until nearly the end of Level 18 before it ended, but I generally expect the Day 1s to end in Level 16 or 17.
