Shawn Johnson was the big stack through much of the final table, though Victor Ma and Eric Vansteelandt also competed for that title throughout the night. In the end, Johnson was able to hold his stack, even as short-stack Henry Friesen wouldn’t die.
Friesen ended up heads up with Johnson after being the short stack at 130k with 8 players left, just a couple of big blinds. Johnson made short work of heads up, however, coming in with about a 4:1 lead. Johnson bagged his first ring tonight, along with more than $28k.
