Victor Ma opened to 100k under the gun, and Eric Vansteelandt called two seats to his left. Sukhpal Sihota then shoved from the middle, and it folded back to Ma, who called with more while Vansteelandt mucked his hand.
Ma had pocket sixes against ace-king, and while the board didn’t hit the big slick directly, the 2♣7♣5♣Q♦10♣ runout gave Sihota the club flush with the king of clubs.
During the deal, the dealer exposed the ace of clubs for Vo Nguyen, turning it into the burn card. Nguyen was short and almost certainly would have been in with the ace, hitting the best flush, but sometimes luck doesn’t run your way.
