On the TV table, Alexey Neofitov opened to 8,000 from UTG+1. Junda Zhu made the call from the Ji-jack, before PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples moved all in for 66,000 from the Cut-off. Action eventually folded back to Zhu, who made the call.

Unfortunate spot for Staples. Zhu maintained his lead on the 4♦10♣10♦ flop, then improved to two-pair on the Q♥ turn. Staples was hoping for a river cowboy to hit a straight, but the 2♦ ultimately ended his fate. As such, he became the first one wearing the PartyPoker patch to bid farewell in Day 2. The various PartyPoker Tour Ambassadors are still in the mix, when Daniel Garcia having a very healthy stack.
