Team Shabab and Maksym flew under the radar until the final table where they picked up momentum. They sat at the middle of the pack with six remaining. Team Pav and Bash took the chip lead and applied pressure finding an elimination to bring play to four-handed.Shortly after, Team Shabab and Maksym won a flip against Team Rob and Brent to pick up momentum and regain the chip lead.
The run good would continue as they found ace-jack against Team Ryken and Ben’s ace-four suited to gain a near 2:1 chip lead heading into heads-up play. Heads-up was instant as Team Pav and Bash moved all in with king-two against Team Shabab and Maksym’s pocket aces. The board changed nothing as the pair picked up their first PPT Trophy.
