WSOP-C Oct 2025 Infocard
Date:Day 1a: Oct 2, 4 PM
Day 1b: Oct 3, 11 AM
Day 1c: Oct 3, 4 PM
Day 1d: Oct 4, 11 AM
Day 2: Oct 5, 1 PM
Blinds:25(D1ac)/30(D1bd)/(D2)45 Minutes
Starting Stack:30k
Late Entry:12 Levels (~9:45 PM Day 1ac, ~6:15 PM Day 1bd)
Day 1 Ends:22 Levels or 5% of the Starting Field

It’s time for the Mini Main Event! A close look at the structure by players familiar with the 4-Flight might see some similarities with this game. Day 1a runs at 3 PM on Thursday, the first of four flights to Sunday’s Day 2.

Players start with 30k in chips and they play 25-minute levels on Day 1a & 1c, with 30 minutes for Day 1b & 1d. Day 1b/d also has a 45-minute dinner break following Level 12, whereas 1a/c only takes 15 minutes after that level. All four flights play down to 5% of the field, or the end of Level 22, whichever comes first. For Day 1b/d that should mean the bags come out no later than 11:30 PM, but 1a/c players should expect to play as late as 2:40 AM, if it goes the distance.

Tyler Panas 2025 WSOP Circuit Calgary Ring Win
Tyler Panas

There wasn’t a “Mini Main Event” in January, but Tyler Panas was the winner of its predecessor, the 4-Flight. He took down the top prize of more than $70k over 1,565 entries for more than $516k in prizes. Given the similar structure and the early turnout numbers, I’m expecting the Mini Main to hit a minimum of 1,300 entries by 6:15 on Saturday. If it hits that number, it would mean more than $400k in prizes, but shoot for 1,520 entries to cap half a million for the prize pool.

I likely won’t be following Day 1a of this game very closely, but I should be on Day 1b/c on Friday exclusively.
