After a 20,000 opening from Oleh Pritsak UTG+1, Aigars Petrovs contemplated his decision for maybe two minutes before making the call from the Lo-jack. Jari Nikunlassi also came along for the ride from the Big Blind, and the dealer dealt the 5♦7♠Q♠ flop. Action was checked to Petrovs, who bet 45,000, and Pritsak made the call.
Pritsak checked the 8♥ turn and, perhaps somewhat to his surprise, Petrov immediately moved all in. Pritsak looked concerned; there were 165,000 in the middle, and he was forced to commit his 350,000 stack if he wanted to call. After two, maybe three minutes’ worth of pondering, he folded, revealing the Q♥. “I have better,” Petrovs said, and threw his cards into the muck as the dealer pushed the pot his way.
