After a 12-hour marathon session, Day 3 of the €1,100 Main Event reached its conclusion. The remaining 16 players bagged their chips, and they will return at 12:00 on Sunday, February 15, and resume the fight for the €169,500 first-place payout, the coveted trophy, and, most importantly, the prestigious title.
What a tournament this has been so far; of course, it was to be expected. The 2026 Kings of Tallinn has lived up to its expectations, and it has once again proven why it’s the biggest live poker festival in Northern Europe. The Main Event was always destined to be the flagship tournament, and with a €1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool, the massive turnout was no surprise. When late registration closed after the first four levels of Day 2, a whopping 1,033 entries could be confirmed. Shaul Weinstein eventually eliminated Patrik Falk in one-hundred-thirty-sixth place, and the remaining competitors were then all guaranteed a €2,000 min-cash.

The knockout secured Weinstein the chip lead going into Day 3. The day kicked off with short stacks busting at a rapid pace. There were some recognizable names in the penultimate flight, including Finnish poker legend Juha Helppi, inaugural Kings of Tallinn Main Event champion Ranno Sootla, experienced Brit Gary Fisher, and Swedish poker guru Johan Storåkers, to name a few. Day 3 offered some staggering action with some very entertaining – and frankly astonishing – hands, especially on the live-streamed TV table.
It was eventually communicated that play would wrap up when 16 players remained, or at the end of Level 28. It would be the first scenario; French poker icon Mathieu Choffardet bid farewell in seventeenth place, and the remaining 16 players went to get some well-deserved rest before tomorrow’s finale.
The poker.pro live coverage will commence at 12:00, focusing on the outer table. All enthusiasts can follow the TV table on the live stream, with poker.pro CEO Jason Glatzer and Andreas “Wiseguy” Höglund on comms.
