Bosch checked it over to Vonheim on the A♥3♦5♥ flop, who continued for 8,000. Thielke made the call before Bosch got out of the way. Vonheim slowed down and checked on the 4♣ turn, then called 38,000 from Thielke. Another check from Vonheim on the 8♦ river was followed by an 85,000 bet from Thielke. Vonheim made the call after one minute’s worth of consideration.
Thilke tabled 2♣2♦ for a turned straight, and he claimed the considerable pot. At the same time at a nearby table, PartyPoker Tour Ambassador/poker legend Niall “Firaldo” Farrell lost a big pot, as he made a call on the river and was shown a flush.
