Today is the day, ladies and gentlemen. It’s the final day of the 2025 THMC London, and the main course on today’s menu is Day 2, the final day, of the £280 Main Event.
What a tournament it has been so far. We’ve seen some excellent poker skills on full display, with flabbergasting hands and chips being traded back and forth between owners. Tonight, a winner will be crowned, who’ll not only be awarded the coveted trophy and what is expected to be a juicy first-place payout, but also a package for the 2026 THMC Cape Town Million.
Day 2 will commence at 15:15. As I’m writing this, Day 1f (turbo) and Day 1g (hyper turbo) are currently in full swing. In roughly 15 minutes, rake-free Flip & Go’s will commence, where players can flip for an average Day 2 stack.
We obviously don’t know what players will bag from the ongoing flights, but at this current moment, it looks like Mohamed Ramadan (708,000) will begin Day 2 as the chip leader.
One of the players currently in the turbo flight is PokerStars Commentator Nick Walsh, who arrived last night. During his commute to London, he came up with an excellent idea to buy one lucky follower into the Main Event. The draw was conducted at midnight, and Bryn Palk was deemed the winner. I just took a stroll by Palk’s stack, and he’s down to 8,000. Hopefully, he can turn it around, as it would be a great story if he were to go on a deep run.
