Last year, PartyPoker made its much-anticipated return to the live poker scene, as the 2025 PartyPoker Tour was born. The tour consisted of five stops (all in the UK), and the successful first year is why the tour is expanding to Spain this year.

The third stop of the 2025 PartyPoker tour was in Glasgow. The legendary PokerBrand took over Alea Casino for a week; it’s an utterly beautiful casino with the most amazing view over the River Clyde.

The £500 Main Event featured a Cinderella story, as exchange student Zhen Zhen navigated her way through the field that consisted of 256 entries. For her win, Zhen was awarded £22,500, the largest chunk of the £111,821 prize pool.

The festival, naturally, also featured the £150 Mini Main Event. That particular affair scored 468 entries, creating a £57,966 prize pool. It was local player Christian Watt who claimed the win and the £10,260 first-place payout.

PartyPoker will return to Glasgow and Alea Casino as a part of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour. All players would be very wise to mark August 3-9 in their calendars, preparing for yet another PartyPoker Tour event in the Scottish gem.
