Trip Down Memory Lane: The 2025 PartyPoker Tour Birmingham

Last year, PartyPoker made its much-anticipated return to the live poker scene, as the 2025 PartyPoker Tour was born. The tour consisted of five stops (all in the UK), and the successful first year is why the tour is expanding to Spain this year.

The fourth stop of the 2025 PartyPoker Tour was held in Birmingham. It was the first time in some years that Genting Resorts World, Birmingham, hosted a live poker event of this magnitude, and the local players were very grateful for PartyPoker bringing new life to the scene.

The £500 Main Event attracted 343 entries; the £100,000 guarantee was shattered, as the final prize pool read £152,635. The £27,420 and the coveted trophy were ultimately claimed by Tai Hoang, who displayed great poker skills throughout the 2025 PartyPoker Tour Birmingham.

Speaking of Hoang, he had quite the week, as he also finished as the runner-up in the £150 Mini Main Event. Out of the 660 entries, Robert Douras was the only one who could outlast Hoang. Douras claimed £14,370 after what has to be one of the most dominating performances ever on a final table. Hoang got £9,080, which was also a considerable amount of the £82,500 prize pool.
