| Day 1 Ends: | One-Day Event |
Wednesday’s side event is the two-card redux of the Deepstack Hyper format. The format combines deepstack poker with lightning-fast blind levels to provide a game that drives action.
The game kicks off at 5 PM, and players have 11 levels to buy in or rebuy. Including the breaks, that should put the end of entries at about 9:15 PM tonight. After that, it will be a race to the trophy.

In September’s series, Jeff Clarke was the player who took this one down, heads up over Shane Hall. He prevailed over a field of 67 entries for the biggest share of $17,186 in prizes.
Typically, this game plays very quickly, and it’s likely that it will finish earlier, or around the same time, as Event #10, which is my maon focus for the day. That means there’s every chance I won’t be able to cover this one outside of numbers and results, but I’ll do my best to manage both games.
